Difco DE Neutralizing Agar, 500g

D/E (Dey/Engley) Neutralizing Agar has the ability to neutralize antimicrobial chemicals and is used for environmental sampling for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms present on surfaces of sanitary importance. 

Sold as a 500g POWDER dehydrated media - end user must reconstitute accordingly.

For storage - keep in refrigerated at +2 ~ +8 Celsius

Directions for Preparation  - Difco™ D/E Neutralizing Agar

1. Suspend 54 g of the powder in 1 L of purified water. Mix thoroughly.

2. Heat with frequent agitation and boil for 1 minute to completely dissolve the powder.

3. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.

4. Test samples of the finished product for performance using stable, typical control cultures
